Hi,

I'm trying to edit a page using SimpleCMS. I've been using SimpleCMS but am finding problems now. All I would like to do it copy and paste a URL into the SimpleCMS address bar so I can edit the page. But when I do so it can't seem to find the page. ANy ideas why this may be happening. Has the system changed at all recently?

Cheers

Hi,

I am creating a page that contains a button like this: <a href="01.html"><div id="clickleft"></div></a>

This code is within a editable area, and when I make a change to the text in this area, SimpleCMS sometimes removes the link (<div id="clickleft"></div>) ]. Please could you let me know why this might be happening.

Here is the page: http://www.wellards.co.uk/papers/course … nt/02.html

I've been using SimpleCMS for sometime now, but one of my websites using won't work. I'm getting a can't find the page message when I login.

contractflooringjournal.co.uk

I have checked the FTP details, which are all correct and made sure the web host has unlocked the IP address for SimpleCMS, but its still not working. However it still works for my other sites.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I was wondering what the code is to make an editable area for an image without the plus / minus (add remove image area) and without making it a Lightbox popup image.

Sorry, I think I may have posted this someone else in the wrong place.

Is there any way of having a image editor without the add/remove an image option and without using Lightbox, so it's just a normal image?

I know video clips would be quite a difficult for any CMS system to embed, as there would need to be multiple formats. But how about inserting Youtube clips?

Also a JQuery slider that would work with SimpleCMS would be nice! :)

Just wondering if there is an editable JQuery slider yet. It would be great to offer my clients this as most websites usually have a image banner at the top these days.

Is there anyway that images could be uploaded to our own servers rather than the SimpleCMS servers?

Seems to be working again, cheers Gavin!

Hi Simon just to keep you updated, but its got worse. I know can't even login through the homepage. I'm getting this message:
The server at cms.simplecms.com is taking too long to respond.

Grant4 has just emailed me and is getting the same!

Now and again one or two of the sites I have this on will work. Plus I must point out that these are issues on about 10 websites from where SimpleCMS has been on for sometime.

Could this be something to do with the size of the SimpleCMS server?

I'm getting the same thing with all my sites!

Hi there !

I am trying to edit a popup in a similar way. (which I used fancybox / inline). But when you close the popup it goes back to the main menu, instead of just closing. Is this a simplecms bug perhaps? for example on this page: http://www.wellards.co.uk/courses/diabe … /003.html.

I also have an edit div tag inside the popup, which doesnt seem to appear when you open the box, unless you click around a bit, and if it does appear, the edit tag often moves around the screen instead of hugging the box?
