Topic: Incompatible

Hey guys, huge errors in being able to updates sites in my account now for some reason.  Can you look into this?  I can't redevelop all of the websites just to keep this service.  Thanks, I love SimpleCMS otherwise, just not working for me now.

Re: Incompatible

Hi Matthew, can you provide more information on the problems you're experiencing. Are you getting any error messages? What browser are you using? What's the browser version?

I have moved your other question to the 'feature requests' section http://www.simplecms.com/help/topic/15/ … -branding/

Re: Incompatible

Hey there, thanks for the fast response.  It looks like one of the issues has been resolved.  In scroll boxes the edit tabs would not move with the content, so it was impossible to select the correct section.  But, again, they now move so that is great.  Other than that, I can't edit the areas on my main site (my own, as opposed to my clients).  I was able to before the new system, so not sure what has happened or if I need to do something to the code.  And finally, upon clicking Sitemap, it doesn't automatically detect all of the pages, some of them I have to type in manually even though they have edit codes implemented.  I have noticed that I need to use php pages as opposed to html in order for things to function properly, as well, but that's not as big of a deal.  Thanks for your help.

Re: Incompatible

The sitemap will only find pages that are linked to on the website. You have a flash navigation which the system can't read so it's only finding a couple of pages. You can link to your other pages in the footer of your website to get around this problem.

This helps a lot with SEO too, as Google is also unable to find these other pages in the site.

Your site has some JavaScript after the closing </html> tag, which is making the page invalid and preventing you from editing the content.

Oops, got it, thank you.
