Topic: Relative path to image

I build my pages in Dreamweaver. I use Relative paths for my images. Such as: "images/logo.jpg". Then when I use Simple CMS to edit my pages online, it changes it to an Absolute path. Such as: http://domainname.com/images/logo.jpg". This messes things up when I go back to do edits in Dreamweaver. Is there any way to prevent Simple CMS from doing this, and maintain my Relative paths?

Re: Relative path to image

I've sent you an email about this, Mark

Re: Relative path to image

I'm also interested in relative images paths, could you email me too?

Re: Relative path to image

Hi Scott, right now SimpleCMS only produces absolute URLs. We are looking at adding a feature later this year so you can choose absolute or relative paths.

Re: Relative path to image

Alright great. When you do please allow support for going up parent directories via "../" please.

Re: Relative path to image

Hi Scott, could you please provide further information of what you mean? Feel free to email us with some examples.

Re: Relative path to image

I'd like to +1 this.

We work on a development server then publish to a live server manually.

The absolute links is currently a showstopper for us.
