Topic: Image resizing & deleting

Hello,

Firstly, thanks for providing such a great CMS tool. We have been using it for a while now and it is perfect for our needs.

I have a couple of questions in regards to image editing. We have setup the relevant editable areas, however when we try to resize an image using the editor, it doesn't change size when we click save. Initially, we thought it may have been because we had specified the width and height of the image in the code, but removing this didn't help. Can you please advise?

Also, is it possible for a user to delete an image, or do they have to do that by editing and removing the actual HTML code?

Thanks

Re: Image resizing & deleting

Hi Ravi, could you let us know the URL of the page this is happening on.

If you have defined the image as editable then you can't resize the image - the system just crops and resizes to match the original image's width / height so that the end user cannot blow up the page.

You can resize images through the WYSIWYG editor when you click on the image icon.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for your reply. After reading what you wrote, I understand how this works. I didn't have my editable areas defined properly, hence why I had problems with resizing.

Appreciate your help.

How do you set up a page to allow the client as a registered user to delete text and image? See http://www.birdhaus.co.uk/caravan_sales
