Topic: Problem setting up a demo site

Hi, I am trying to set up a demo site to see how the CMS works, but when I enter the FTP details of the site it says:

"You may also need to add our dedicated IPs to your allowed FTP list:
We are unable to connect to the FTP server, please check that the details you gave us are correct.
If you keep seeing this message, you could check your details using your FTP software.
You may also need to add our dedicated IPs to your allowed FTP list:
208.109.198.3
208.109.198.189"

The FTP details are definately correct.  Do you know how I update my allowed FTP list?  The website is hosted with a company called Hostgator if that helps.

Hi Steve, there should be an option in your Hostgator account to allow our IPs. If not you may need to contact Hostgator and ask them.

Hi Simon, thanks for the reply.  I just spoken to Hostgator on live chat, they have said that there is no list for them to add IP's to, all IP's should have access as long as the FTP details are correct. 
My FTP details are definately correct, as I update the site regularly through Dreamweaver, but want to try the CMS.  I have built quite a lot of websites, and I tried using their FTP details to demo the CMS, but I can't seem to logon with any of them, so maybe it is something I am doing wrong!  This is the error I get, any ideas?

Hi Steve, are you able to email the details to us? So we can try adding the site and run some tests to see what the problem is.

I am having the same exact problem. I have tried more than one site and none have worked and I get the same error message. Did this problem ever get resolved and if so what was the solution?
